We celebrated the autumn equinox (Alban Elfed, The Light of the Water) in the apple orchard that we at Cornovii love. We celebrated with amazing apple cake baked by Lynne, cider, freshly pressed apple juice and many laughs… and a wonderful ritual in the company of dozens of guests and friends, with a seasonal blessing from our friends in the Hindu community. A fine day with fine friends!

Some of the Grove attended the wonderful One Tree Gathering on 20-21 August 2016 at Beaumanor Hall near Leicester. The Gathering is an annual space for exploring what unites Hinduism and Druidry, and is a space in which friendships and a deeper understanding can flourish. Some of the comments on the event:

Absolutely wonderful weekend, many many thanks to all who helped to organise it, and to all those who were such wonderful company.

Thank you everyone for an inspirational and fun filled week-end. See you all next year. X

Much fun was had and new light was shone on the sacred bonds between the traditions.

Chief of OBOD, Phillip Carr-Gomm, talking at the event with Aislinn:

Keith, Aislinn and friends question, listen and share:

Laughter, dance, new discoveries and hugs…

It’s going to be a busy time – so to book your ticket, email ukiccs@gmail.com asap. Namaste to you all.

Cornovii Chief Keith Southall and wife Fran were invited by Phillip and Steph Carr-Gomm to be the delegates for OBOD at the ICCS ( International Conference of Cultural Studies) held in Mysore, India February 2015.

Keith and Fran were overwhelmed by the welcome, generosity and full colour spectacle of the event which was spread over six days and held in a beautiful ashram. Keith gave a speech to the gathering of over 500 people from 64 different belief systems and spiritualities, then tried to get to as many of the other amazing and enlightening talks as possible, but as there were sometimes up to eight in one day it was very difficult, but they tried hard and were rewarded by meeting and talking to some very interesting people from all parts of Mother Earth.
